Essence of Zhaobao He Style Taijiquan

About He Style Taijiquan

Zhaobao He Style Taijiquan was created in the mid-19th century by He Zhaoyuan, an 8th generation disciple of Zhaobao taiji. Each movement of the form has a collection of large and small, flowing and reversed circular movements. Because of this characteristic, He Style is often called the circular boxing form. It is not only an excellent form of self-defense but draws on traditional Chinese medicine to augment its health-giving qualities.

Master Khow learned He style from Grandmaster Kei Cheong-Sau, a 12th generation lineage holder of the style. She has now created this shorter 24 posture routine, abridged from the traditional long form, to introduce the essence of the style.
